Jonathan Watkins
Operations Director
Jonathan is a Chartered Engineer with an honours degree in Materials Science and Technology from the University of Birmingham and post-graduate diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering and Management (ACDMM) from the University of Cambridge.
He began his career at T&N plc leading the development and manufacture of an innovative ceramic bearing technology for the global energy, water and defence sectors. More recently, Jonathan held key leadership roles within the automation and fastening division of Textron Inc, now Acument Global Technologies. As Commercial Vice-President, responsible for sales, marketing and engineering for the €500 million European business unit, Jonathan led a multi-site manufacturing business serving major automotive, truck and tier companies in Europe. Jonathan joined Ceres Power in November 2008 and in January 2009 became Operations Director.
