Welcome to Ceres Power

Originally established in May 2001 to acquire fuel cell intellectual property rights developed over the preceding ten years by Imperial College, award winning Ceres has now developed and aims to exploit its patented fuel cell technology. Such exploitation involves producing core fuel cell components in-house and working with partners to integrate such components into finished products for end-users in the global distributed power generation market.

June 2008 - Key technical milestone achieved on contract with British Gas and independent confirmation of core CHP technology performance. Ceres Power give a presentation for analysts updating them on the recent progress on its CHP technology, achievements on the residential CHP contract with British Gas and providing a roadmap of its development programme through to mass market roll-out. February 2008 - New Director Appointments. Ceres Power, the AIM-quoted fuel cell group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Wood and Sir David Brown to its Board as Non-Executive Directors. Together they bring extensive experience in innovative consumer products and building high technology based businesses in rapidly developing global markets.

January 2008 - Ceres Power and British Gas enter development, supply and distribution agreement for UK residential CHP. Ceres Power, the AIM-quoted fuel cell group, today announces that it has signed a major new agreement with Centrica (trading as British Gas) including a funded trialling programme and a volume forward order for residential combined heat and power products (‘CHP’). December 2007 - Ceres Power and British Gas jointly win new clean energy award. Ceres Power, the AIM-quoted fuel cell group, and British Gas, the largest energy supplier in Britain’s domestic market, have jointly won the Rushlight Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Award, a major new award for clean energy innovation.

November 2007 - Ceres Power Holdings plc Annual Report 2007.

September 2007 - Preliminary results for the twelve months ended 30 June 2007. There has been major progress in all aspects of the business during the year. The Group has made substantial technical advances and expanded its commercial relationships.

September 2007 - Integrated CHP Demonstration. Ceres Power, the AIM-quoted fuel cell group, today demonstrates an integrated, wall-mountable combined heat and power unit (‘CHP Unit’). Click here for the presentation

May 2007 - Ceres secures regional development agency funding for fuel cell manufacturing process development. Ceres Power, the AIM-quoted fuel cell group, today announces that it has been successful in securing a £0.5 million Exceptional Development grant from SEEDA, the South East England Development Agency.

March 2007 - Ceres secures funded development contract with EDF Energy Networks to design, build and evaluate domestic power products. Ceres Power, (‘Ceres’, 'Ceres Power' or the 'Company') the AIM-quoted fuel cell group, today announces that it has entered into a programme with EDF Energy Networks to design and build innovative power generation appliances to provide back-up electricity for the home.

March 2007 - Chancellor Gordon Brown hears the South East's vision for the future. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, saw a UK company able to lead the world in environmentally-friendly energy technology when he today visited Crawley-based fuel cell technology company, Ceres Power.

March 2007 - Director Changes. Ceres Power, the AIM-quoted fuel cell group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Count to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 2nd March 2007.

December 2006 - Technical Update: Key Performance and Durability Targets Achieved. Ceres Power, the AIM-quoted fuel cell group, is today providing an update on the progress achieved in the development of its unique patented fuel cell technology.

September 2006 - Preliminary results for the twelve months ended 30 June 2006. Significant progress has been achieved across several key areas of the business during the year ended 30 June 2006.
